SIH has it own unique set of irritations, as do all treatment facilities but overall one of the most well rounded places I have experienced. With a nice detox building and suitable residential housing the accommodations are acceptable. Food is catered for 3 meals a day and 24 hour snack and cereal area will put the pounds back on you! Pool is well kept although underutilized. Clinical staff and BHTs are professional and hands down some of the best a facility could collect but the LIV program and staff are hands down the crown jewel of SIH's program. The 5 star rating is only achieved through LIV and the hands on, practical experience and self awareness they promote by the "Do Hard Shit" approach to recovery! No doubt the best treatment experience I have had and with hard work and knowledge gained in this program shall be my last... Thanks go out to all that I encountered along my journey at Singer Island Health!
The therapeutic value in the LIV program has saved my life! This place is top notch! There is amazing things going on there!❤️
I came here completely broken and just mad at the world because this was my second time here. But after I got settled in and really focused on myself, positive thinking, wanting a better life. Things really came together well. I had an awesome therapist Anjalee and I mean awesome, she really took the time to help me get through things I had been burying all my life. I can not thank her enough. Anjalee was a lifesaver for me. Now the instructors and the Liv program really make this place top notch. Michelle, Adam, Troy, Erin, Brett, Ralph, and a few others go above and beyond to see clients succeed. I am so happy I went back for a second time and got it right this time. I am 87 days sober and I feel better than I ever felt in my life.
I was expecting sandals for junkies.. it wasnt that, but it was so much better. If you need to turn your life around and get clean and sober, this place is right for you. I made life long friends in this place the community is everything. The LIV program really makes this place different #Dohardshit 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.. there were some things to dislike like anywhere, my last day was the worst day there but it was a one off. Overall they took excellent care of me and the rest of the community.
They let females and males do therapy and group together. They let females and males have sex and hang out constantly. (Can confirm). How are you going to get better if you are too busy oggling at the other sex and getting distracted. Someone I know did 60 days here and came out FAR worse than he went in. Don’t send your loved ones here ever.
Singer Island Health provided all the resources and opportunities to begin the ultimate recovery process. The LIV program was tremendous in the recovery experience, allowing clients to get out and be active via a multitude of opportunities; paddle boarding, surfing, snorkeling, rock climbing, pickleball, basketball, beach time.
5-STAR Program!
5-STAR Program!
I am so thankful for this organization! I was truly suffering and they bent over backwards to help. I was in another hospital and one of the nurses was like this place (Singer) has called for the last 5 days to bring you in for help. They fly people in from other states as I was the only Floridian there! They have Dr's and medicine on site to help with detox so it was a more comfortable transition! They have groups throughout the day to help coach you also! I truly needed help with trauma and greif resolution, and they had 2 of the best Councilors, Erin and Brett, I can't say enough!! Thank you again! The tech staff REALLY help make this place run smoothly! My Therapist Julianna, really helped me find a path to sobriety and I think Singer is lucky to have her. Even the cleaning staff was always hard at work! I would HIGHLY recommend Singer to anyone looking for a change! Oh by the way they also provide rock climbing, beach trips, canoeing for those looking for some exciting events!
I used to work at this treatment center, and while I loved working with the clients, management made it a very difficult and frustrating place to work. The supervisors, especially Jennifer, often spoke to employees in a rude and dismissive way. Paychecks were even delayed at one point due to issues with their system, which was stressful for everyone.
Scheduling was also handled unfairly. I requested to move to an overnight shift to better support my kids schedule, but my request was denied even though another employee with less experience and had a family member that had a friendship with our director was allowed to switch. It felt like there was favoritism and a lack of care for staff who have families.
It’s sad because the clients deserve better, and the staff genuinely care. Unfortunately, management seems more focused on insurance money than the well-being of clients and employees. I hope they make some major changes because the staff and clients deserve respect and fairness.

The LIV program was my blessing in so many ways!!!..I want to thanks all that have helped me on my journey to become a better version of myself today!! Blessings and Huggs
Definitely not a good experience. Food was less than average. If your working out and looking for protein good luck. I asked for Three eggs instead of two and was met with ugly look and response of no. Two egg only reminded me of soup Nazi on the sienfield show . Room was disgusting. Place was ok. Ocean front beach admissions tells you about is a lie. Two miles away. Was told I would see two therapist. One twice a week with family. One on weekends to deal with trauma. Lie. Positive was Lydia,Manny, and Adam. Adam actually awakened my mind and started a healing I can't even explain.. did thirty days. When time to leave driver was two hours late he laughed and stated he turned alarm off and went back to sleep.About 30 minutes into ride home he fell asleep at the wheel and the patient with me drove us home while singer island health driver slept for the 7hour drive. I've never felt more like an insurance claim ever in my life. There are employees there who care but the company the business end lets you know you are just a number. So sad when you have employees like Lydia, Manny and Adam. I pray they find different company to work for
My only interaction with them was a wrong number phone call because their sponsored Google Ad came in front of a local treatment center. Two separate people were incapable of recognizing the simple misunderstanding and the only thing they could do was ask if I needed treatment (I was looking for the HR dept). I told them I had recently gotten a message for a reference and they just kept repeating "Do you need treatment?" Then they hung up on me. It was very unprofessional, especially for a something that was clearly a misunderstanding. When things like this happen in my office we laugh it off and wish the person on the other end a nice day.
I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at singer island. I had a great experience. I especially want to thank the LIV team. Troy, Adam Angie and Dakota are all so amazing!! They challenged me to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and “DO HARD SHIT!!!” They made me realize that I can do so much more that I thought possible. Love you guys! Singer island is a great rehab but with the LIV PROGRAM singer island is the best!!
The LIV program with Troy and Adam helped so much- it’s a great program and really helped my recovery! Big thank you too them
Where to even begin. My mom was a patient here. She ended up in ICU for 3 days and a gash on her arm from a fall she had at the facility, that ultimately got infected. They overdosed her. My mom went in for treatment for alcohol. They kept her drugged up on multiple meds, including suboxone. Mind you, she drank wine daily, she wasnt on any narcotic drugs. Every little time we spoke to her, she was slurring her words and basically incoherent . Im writing this in hopes to help advocate for other families before sending a member of yours here. Its only a matter of time, till the truth of this place is revealed. Very hush and cult like, especially when trying to retrieve her personal belongs as she laid in ICU.
My experience at Singer Island Rehab was truly life changing! I learned to love myself again with self care for my MIND and BODY. I learned for the first time in a rehab that my addiction is not who I am! It was what I used to get out of my head when it was too much to handle. Thru the groups, I was able to be open and honest with my people I grew to call my little rehab family in the 31 days I was there. Individual therapy sessions with Anjalee were so helpful and I felt heard & understood. Facilitators really we’re passionate about helping all of us, by teaching us all they could so we can stay Sober! The LIV program was the part that really built my confidence by allowing me to “Do Hard Shit” ( the motto of the LIV program) that I would never have done otherwise, such as cold plunging 20 mornings I believe, rock climbing, pickleball and just waking up at 5:15 am for 3 weeks for Sunrise. Be present and grounded! I even got out of my shell and painted a picture on the new surf board for 2025-2026 that clients can sign when they really jump into the LIV program! I am eternally grateful for this journey I started there! I would refer anyone there to find out the Why? Behind our addictions…. the mind and brain can repair and change!
I've been wanting to write a review for awhile. August 31 will be two years since I first came to Singer Island and it was truly life changing. I've been to other rehab's prior to this one. The staff and whoever was running the place back in 2023 did an amazing job. I went back a year later and it went downhill. This place changed my life and I met wonderful people who I think about daily. This is the only place I've ever felt safe in my entire life and that includes Crystal Lake as well. Thank you for what you guys did for me. Two years later and I reminisce all the time. You guys truly had the best therapist, case managers and group facilitators back in 2023. & I LOVE the TECHS/BHT'S all of you, don't even get me started lol. They truly cared and made me think deep about life and how to be happy again. & shoutout to Troy he's probably the only person keeping this place going with his LIV program.
I was extorted for money from the BHT's. The person in question was eventually fired and continued to contact me for money. When I left the facility I had multiple uber charges on my card. I obviously wasn't taking Ubers anywhere. If you want a safe, clean, excellent facility, check out Lincoln Recovery Center. Private rooms, phones and tech are allowed day 1. Indoor pool, lake outside for fishing. You are treated like a human here and not a criminal. Check it out if you would like a fantastic alternative for treatment.
I just left Singer Island a week ago, and my experience was amazing. I was in a state rehab facility before this, and to say this place was 100x better is an understatement. I absolutely loved the LIV Adventure Program with Troy and Adam. They gave us holistic healing opportunities that I haven’t seen anywhere else, and I absolutely would recommend Singer Island to anyone looking for a rehab facility that cares and is actually useful.
I went to Singer Island back in January 2025 for less than a month. The staff was amazing and helpful. I’m writing this review to let yall know if you’re looking for a mindset change the LIVE program here is the best. They will challenge and motivate you to be your best self. I’ll be forever grateful to Troy, Adam, and Ms Erica for helping me start my journey the right way. Everything they’ve said has been exactly what I need to hear at the right time. Love y’all!!!
Singer Island Health is unlike the majority of the substance abuse detox/residential facilities in South Florida. It is a true campus style addiction recovery center that specializes in dual diagnosis treatment. It is located near the ocean and the patients see able to actually go in. I truly recommend it
Great location! Get off that stuff here youll thank yourself! 2 years sober myself!
Singer Island Health changed my way of looking at life. The staff is great. If you have a love one or a friend that needs help with addiction or alcoholism this the place for them. Trust me it’s working for me.

This place is a phenomenal treatment center, MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE LIV PROGRAM. Treatment is heading in the right direction adapting to the newer generation. The less paperwork the better.
It’s not 1970 anymore where science is pointing toward paperwork and classroom structure. It’s 2025 and the newer generation doesn’t vibe with paperwork and structure, an hour on the beach for sunrise and meditation does more for the human body than any amount of paperwork ever will. The LIV program brings us back to our roots as human beings. Surfing, Paddleboarding, Snorkeling you name it, Singer Island has it.
The same can NOT be said for Crystal Lake though, sadly it was suppose to be a step down after the 30 days at Singer Island (which was amazing and life changing) However Crystal Lake makes you feel like you’ve taken 2 steps backward. The Cold Plunge was broken most of the time I was there, there were roaches in the rooms and by the food, Fridges weren’t properly cleaned, stoves were from 1920 and there were no sunrise activities. You make tremendous progress at Singer Island, then they toss you into Crystal Lake (if you choose to) with no Sunrises and the Cold Plunge is broken. Removing the routine they had built for you at Singer. Does Crystal Lake have potential? Yes. Are they moving quick enough to enact change? No, absolutely not. 1) They need to stop shoving 15 people in a Van every morning, crammed adults sitting on eachothers laps is NOT a healthy way to start the morning. 2) They need more outdoor activities, especially a morning Sunrise to start the day. 3) The 80$ they give you is nowhere near enough for 3 meals a day for a week (money is a factor with a lot of people) 4) They need to look at people’s treatment individually, some people are ready to hit the ground running and start working, others may not be. They need to decipher who’s ready to move at a faster pace.
All in all
Singer Island 10/10
Crystal Lake 2/10

I am now 4 months and some change sober because of this place. It definitely does not look exactly like the pictures when you show up but it is worth it to spend that time on yourself 80 percent of the staff is awesome shout out to Troy, adam,Tommy, and all the folks who put on classes. biggie and smalls were pretty horrible if you have been here you know who im talking about. But regardless I would not be where I am right now if I would not have gone to this place and if you are in need of help with substance abuse would definitely recommend
Reminds me of hotel California you can check in anytime you want but you can never leave. Was there for 28 days saw an actual therapist 3 times for timed 30 minute sessions. 3 separate times group did not happen because there was no group leader. Was told when going there food was amazing. If you like dry chicken then the food is amazing. Was told I would be responsible for 2000 I paid 1000 up front as well as my airfare. 6 months out I get a bill for 8000 and was told by billing that admission doesn’t guarantee the cost you will pay. Had a lovely group about the sister aftercare where we were told if we didn’t go there we would relapse. My sober date is 08-28-24 and I am still sober. I work a program that demands rigorous honesty and Singer Island Health is far from being honest about anything. I was told that they would check up on me in a couple of weeks to see how sobriety is going I have yet to receive a call. Check out the non functioning App in the App Store sent in several requests to get it fixed to no avail. On a brighter note the group sessions with Daniel and with Andrea were very helpful in getting rid of deep trauma and they probably saved my life. The liv program with Troy was also amazing learning how to do some hard shit breathing exercises and the labyrinth very helpful. I really wasn’t going to leave a review but Rickey stressed how important reviews were to getting people to come and I think an 80% relapse rate is saying that something is wrong with the product that they are selling there.
The LIV program is the best thing offered! 10/10 recommend. It gives you the opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and pushes you to “Do Hard Shit.” The program changed my whole mindset. It taught me so much. I am doing things I never thought I’d be doing. My outlook on life is brighter than ever. Thanks to the LIV program!
This place has changed my life for the better. This was my second attempt at rehab, the first place didn’t work… this one has changed my whole perspective on life and how to live a beautiful and fulfilling healthy life. From the staff and community I met and shared my story with I am so grateful for the opportunity and what it has done for me, the LIV program was crucial to my sobriety and recovery. I can’t thank Troy and Adam enough for teaching me and showing me things I have never experienced before in my life. Michelle, Daniel, Oscar and all the other staff I found very personable and caring. My journey through singer island was life changing and I can’t thank them enough. I will return there some day to show my gratitude for everything they have taught me and showed me, life is really beautiful and fun while sober. Thank you singer island. Much love

I am coming up on 60 days sober, the longest I’ve been sober since I was 14. The LIV program has changed my perspective on sobriety and life in general. I’ve found a purpose and reason to wake up in the mornings. I am forever grateful for the insight and opportunity Troy and Adam has given me. This program has saved my life and with the work they are doing I am positive they will continue to save the lives of many others. #dohardshi*
I have intentionally waited to post a review as I wanted to have some sober time under my belt. A lot of people here have mentioned the Liv program, it is definitely something that sets Singer Island apart. But I want to put the facilitators on a pedestal. They are top of the line and truly care about our healing. I'll name drop, Michelle, Daniel, D. Mathis, they all have changed me. So the clinical team is amazing. Case Management was lacking both times I was there, and it isn't their fault...they are clearly understaffed. The operational side, there were some good techs! There were some bad ones too that tended to look down on the patients, treating us like children at times. I won't name drop here, but its mostly the ones with the most seniority. There was a lot of dram created within that group. Overall, I recommend Singer, and I've been twice.
Singer Island Health is an amazing place to get sober. The staff on hand puts the clients first and provide high quality, individualized treatment. The facility is state of the art and provides a safe place for those seeking help for their addiction.
I was the 1st client there and it was amazing. It is a beautiful facility, the staff was exceptional and getting better all the time. They take excellent care of all of their patients. I was there for 30 days and met alot of great people. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to better their lives. Thank you singer island for making this an unforgettable experience.
