Upon arrival, one of our behavioral health technicians (BHT) will greet you and help with your belongings. Following this, you will be taken to a private room so you can sign a consent for treatment. This document is essential as it allows us to treat your alcohol or substance use disorder.
If you’d like us to share any information regarding your treatment with your family members, a therapist, or other supports, you’ll be asked to sign a release of information (ROI) for each person. Because your treatment is confidential and protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), we can only share information with your approval. You also have the right to limit the information shared, decline information sharing, and revoke your authorization at any time.
